Oberlin Rocks presents Yellow Ball Tennis Camp

The Shipherd/Stewart memorial is painted for a tennis camp which holds some sessions on the Oberlin College campus. Photo taken June 25, 2008. The long white rectangle at the bottom of the rock is paint -40 years of paint accumulation!- which had dislodged from the base. It was about two inches thick, thirty-five inches long, and weighed about fifteen pounds.

“When arriving to Oberlin for my first year, my Mom, Dad and I marveled at the painted rocks! This one was poignant in the Regan 80s “We are Not Wimps!”
