Oberlin Rocks presents Ciao Peggy

Sue Copeland Jones writes: “In 1998, Peggy Badenhausen, a painter/printmaker, was moving to Boston from Oberlin. She and her good friend printmaker Mary Owen Rosenthal (at left) were very active in the arts scene in Oberlin and Cleveland; I had worked with both of them at the Firelands Association for the Visual Arts in Oberlin; they had both served actively on the Gallery Committee while I was Galllery Director there. Since her husband Tom Kelly’s research took them to Italy each year, we decided to give Peggy an Italian send-off.” Thanks, Sue, for the photo and story. Great rock painting- it’s good to see artists in action- and it is the second photo of a rock painted in the 1990′s on Oberlin Rocks!
