Oberlin Rocks presents We Welcome our 1,000,000th CouchSurfer

“CouchSurfing is a worldwide network for making connections between travelers and the local communities they visit”. It urges people to “participate in creating a better world, one couch at a time”. Several area people are members of CouchSurfing and met to paint the Shipherd/Stewart memorial on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 in anticipation of the millionth person joining CouchSurfing, which happened about 10:00 p.m. on March 12, 2009.
